FAQsFrequently Asked QuestionsHow do I know which chapter I should join?MOMS Club® chapters are based on geographical region. Please look at the map to determine which chapter's boundaries you are in. If you do not live in Frisco, please contact MOMSClub@aol.com to determine the MOMS Club® chapter nearest to you. Can I visit before I decide to join? Yes! All prospective members are invited to visit us at 2 business meetings, or 1 business meeting and 1 park day before deciding whether to join. Do I have to attend all the activities and events? Of course not! You will be sent a monthly calendar with the planned activities. You attend the ones that suit your schedule and preferences. What sort of activities do you do? In a typical month, we schedule several Park Days, lunches, MOMS Night Out, field trips, and other activities. We also have playgroups that meet weekly in addition to scheduled activities. Please see our activities page and sample calendar for more information. How do I join a playgroup? When you join MOMS Club®, we will do our best to put you in a playgroup with others who have children the same age(s). Each playgroup meets at a regularly scheduled time. The location for meetings is up to the members. Some playgroups like to meet at members houses, while others prefer to meet at parks or local play areas.Can I bring my children? Children are welcome at every MOMS Club® function. We often have toys and a coloring/crafts table for the children at the monthly general business meeting so that the children can keep busy while the Moms listen to the speaker, some chapters are even able to offer childcare. We always warn our speakers to be prepared for a little chaos! After all, our children are our top priority. How can I place an advertisement in your monthly newsletter? Each chapter sells advertising space in its monthly newsletter. Ads can generally be run in 4 sizes, business card size, 1/4 page, 1/2 page, or full page.
